1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Better Together ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Better Together is a relationship-building platform designed to help couples see how they sync, align on values, and discuss expectations through guided exercises and discussions. The App is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or legal advice.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
4. Couple Pairing
The App allows you to invite a partner to share exercises and results. By pairing with a partner, you consent to sharing your exercise responses with that individual. Either partner may dissolve the couple link at any time, which will remove shared data as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you submit through the App, including exercise responses, letters, and personal reflections. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your partner.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to: using the service for any unlawful purpose, attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' data, interfering with the proper functioning of the App, or using the App to harass or harm another person.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Better Together does not guarantee that the use of the App will improve your relationship or lead to any particular outcome. The exercises and content are for informational and reflective purposes only and should not be considered professional advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Together shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional distress, relationship outcomes, or decisions made based on exercise results.
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data and exercise responses will be permanently removed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
